hello

I was born in Portland Oregon to talented parents who appreciated art, good craftsmanship, beautiful landscapes and Mid Century Modern design. It’s no wonder I went on to graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in Interior Architecture. I spent 35 years working for Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects (ZGF) designing large scale commercial projects on a national and international level, many of which were published. In 2020 I decided to retire and explore a new playground filled with more time for family, pickleball, golf, hiking, study groups and enjoying the natural beauty of Bend, Oregon.

I have always been fascinated with patterns, textures, shapes, color with a passion for paper products, textiles, and card giving. In 2021 I realized I was sending hundreds of greeting cards out each year and it was costing a sheer fortune, so I started drawing cards by hand. I was encouraged by friends and family to take it to the next level, so here I am starting a small card business. In this new era, I pray the art of sending cards will not be lost. I know how special it feels to receive a card, and how even more gratifyingly it is to give a card to let someone know you care.

A year ago my husband and I embarked on a new adventure and moved from our native state of Oregon to Arizona. I have a small studio space to create, draw, and design in. As well as a new landscape with beautiful sunsets to be inspired by. I hope you will come on this journey with me to see where it leads, in the meantime don’t forget to send someone a card, let them know they are a special part of your life and you are thinking of them.
